In January 2020, my tweet about imposter syndrome and authenticity went viral. In a few words, I revealed how easy it is to hide the hard stuff on social media when bragging about work and life accomplishments by outlining my “honest” decade in review. I was featured on Good Morning America, Headline News, Working Mother, Pop Sugar, Parents.com, Upworthy, and, my favorite, George Takei’s Facebook feed. I was excited to share my story of growth and acceptance on the TEDx stage, even though it was a virtual event. My true calling is to let women know that they are not alone in the challenges that working women face, whether it is balancing motherhood with career ambitions, having ADHD as an accomplished woman, or overcoming the systemic problem that is imposter syndrome.
